Do you believe in fate? Do you think that fate is everything that makes one’s life? Well, I believe in my deeds – the karma. I do what I feel is right and rest I don’t bother about the results? No, wait if I am doing something, don’t I want to know the result as what happened? Even when we right exams, we all want to know what we scored at the end.

“Fate is for those too weak to determine their own destiny.” ~ Kamran Hamid

Let me ask you, if everything is decided by fate then what? – do we stop looking for results? Probably not, but then we won’t have that eagerness as what will be the result because even though you studied hard, fate is going to decide the results and that could be either in your favor or not.

This movie ‘Aamir’ – which means leader in urdu, is an interesting one. Here they say fate decides about your life …and how – for that one must watch this movie. I liked this movie for two reasons – first of all the simplicity with which it is made and secondly, through out this movie has kept that suspense thrill. I don’t know any one in particular in this movie. Some faces seen in some movies. The actors are Rajeev Khandelwal, Gajrao Rao and others.

And the best part is even though everything is so serious in the movie there is one song in the background which is really funny with its lyrics and also the way it is sung. It soothes at times when the suspense gets intense :D

A doctor returning from UK due to his permit expiry or you can say non-renewal of his permit/visa for which all the Indians were sent back. How the hero of this movie comes with the hope to meet all his near and dear ones at the airport and how quickly things changes for him.

“Fate is a misconception, it’s only a cover-up for the fact you don’t have control over your own life.”

I would give credit to the director- Rajkumar Gupta of this movie as he has taken amazingly the true expression and has focused on things which needs to be and no non-sense – that is what makes this movie a great suspense thriller.

At the end of this movie the hero is the leader who decides as per what his mind or heart says but what the world things about him is his fate :)

“Fate only takes you so far, then it’s up to you to make it happen.”

Interesting post. I don’t really believe in fate. I do believe things happen for a reason but we also have choices to make along the way.

We might know well, how we did our exams, and can’t expect more when nothing is written in paper. Accepting whatever happens in life in case we can’t change should it be taken as fate? If that is what called fate, there is no way to deny. Thanks for sharing your thought on film and fate!
