It’s been raining like cats and dogs and the weekend was pretty much relaxing. Rainy season always brings that child in me who wants to go out and play in the rain.
More over when I see the cows and horses in the mountain getting wet and yet they are grazing the grass – mind just travels miles away so far away that even you don’t know what your mind is thinking.
It was one of that moment when my friend and neighbor Nancy knocked at the door. I opened the door and asked her to come inside and she said – No, You come outside!!!
I ran outside only to see that her husband Ron who had participated in the Senior Idol singing competition has actually grabbed the first position. WOW! What a thrilling surprise.

We all know Ron is a great singer. Ron’s passion for singing we all have witnessed often as no matter what day or time it is you will hear Ron singing with the same passion and love for the artist’s songs. I still remember the karaoke we had one evening at our house and it just brought all my memories back.
It was a pleasure to congratulate Ron on his achievement, as I have never seen a man who is so composed, sober and loving with so much determination.
“That some achieve great success, is proof to all that others can achieve it as well.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
Ron has proved all of us that if you really want to achieve something in life you must set a goal for yourself and go for it. Don’t look for age or time because its not your age that decides but for your determination and passion for it brings the true color out of it.
Ron grabbed the first prize for being the winner as a Senior Idol Title. I feel so proud to call him as my neighbor. He is a guy who is full of love and life – a guy who is crazy about collecting movies and singing passionately.
His next mission is to sing the ‘Jai Ho’ song from the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ – and I loved it when for the first time Nancy told me that Ron thinks the Latika looks like me …lol!!!
It’s a pleasure to know Ron and Nancy my loving neighbors – yet a crazy one
