Life is simple, it’s just not easy!

I saw this ‘Up in the air’ – George Clooney’s movie and was mesmerized by him and his acting as I like him so much!

Filmmaker Jason Reitman reunites with his Juno co-star Jason Bateman, who joins George Clooney, Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick in the big screen adaptation of Up in the Air. The downsizing comedy tells the story of Ryan Bingham (Clooney), a Career Transition Counselor with a simple goal: to accumulate one million miles in his frequent flyer account.

Well, today I am going to write about the movie as there are some important things that we miss in life and it has very clearly shown in this one.

“Just living is not enough.  One must have sunshine, freedom, and a little flower.”  ~Hans Christian Anderson

In this movie when George Clooney whose job is to fire people across the globe – I remembered my time during Sep 11th, 2001 – 30,000 were laid off from CIBC at that time and I was part of it. Glad to see that I didn’t react in that fashion as they did in this movie , may be due to my positive outlook towards life made me so.

But the fact that people spend their entire life in just finding what they want until when they see actually that the time has gone and they still running without knowing what they want!

“The miracle is not to fly in the air, or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth.”

Imagine what a situation one can be if that’s where they are in life. George is one of those characters who live a very stylish life of a frequent flyer on his company’s expense and how his goal keeps changing.

Even at the end when it is asked what he wants in life – he has no answer!

Tough one, I feel many in this life waste it mere running after things which they don’t even want it and only become the part and parcel of the set-up of life that someone else has chosen for them !

I think one must ask what they want in life and then chase their dreams rather than running in the dark.

Amazing movie and Clooney is looking hot even now, that’s the bonus!
